From Healthcare to the Canvas: Winning the Larchmont Art Festival

I studied art in college, but after building a career in healthcare, painting took a backseat. During the pandemic, I returned to it—seeking a way to bring joy when words often weren’t enough. I began gifting small pieces to colleagues, sharing color and creativity as a simple act of connection.

Painting quickly became more than a pastime. It reminded me of the power of creativity to inspire, uplift, and bring beauty into everyday life.

By 2025, I decided to take the leap and launch my own art business. Just a few months later, I was honored to receive the Larchmont Art Festival award—a recognition that celebrates both the work itself and the journey that brought me back to art.

This award is a reminder of why I create: to share joy, explore ideas, and craft pieces that feel personal and meaningful. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way, and I’m excited to continue this journey, one painting at a time.
